Cookouts

Kick back and enjoy our backyard barbecues at the Stone Barn—farm-to-table style. Our cookouts will offer a farm-to-table meal experience for the whole family, prepared outdoors with live action fire cooking using foods foraged nearby and sourced from Lakes Region farms. Watch your food being prepared right in front of you, and then enjoy it on picnic tables or bring your own blanket to spread on the grassy expanse where lawn games are sure to unfold.

Picnics

This summer, let our chefs pack you a picnic like no picnic you’ve had before. Reserve your picnic basket online, pick it up at Baggot Street café, and take it anywhere on campus to enjoy—whether it’s down by the lake under a canopy of trees before you take a swim, in the courtyard of the Stone Barn overlooking a pasture, or in a secluded area in the woods off one of our trails. Crafted by chef Mary Paine, our farm-to-table picnic menu offers a variety of options for you to customize your picnic experience. Experience a Mediterranean-inspired mezze picnic with salads and specialty hummus or order a cheese and charcuterie board. Complimentary maps of trails and lake access are provided with highlighted picnic destinations so you can choose your own adventure. All you’ll need to bring is a blanket!
